Ellys Manor House

The house with iconic stepped gables reminiscent of Flanders is an architectural gem.
The main feature however is a scheme of early 16th century wall paintings said to be the most complete, extensive and important domestic decoration of this date in the country.

DIRECTIONS
From the South:
Travel north on the A1 (A1M).
At Great Ponton, take a right turn under the footbridge
across the southbound carriageway. OR to avoid crossing
the carriageway continue a few miles and exit left towards
Grantham but doubling back onto the A1 southbound.
From the North: On the A1 take the left exit sign posted
Boothby Pagnel. Follow the village road, finding the house on your left adjacent to the church.
Alternatively: Approach from Ermine Street (B6403),
east of the village.
Parking:
Use the car park adjacent to the church on its eastern side. If the car park is full, use the village hall car
park on Archers Way, a short walk from house.
