On loan from Museum Rockoxhuis (Rockox House) in Antwerp – Belgium is this incredibly fine pre-Renaissance Flemish tapestry representing the mythological Garden of Love. The tapestry is on display up at EMH, from Easter to 31 – October – 2011.

In the United Kingdom, EMH stands testament to the northern renaissance, thus making the perfect venue for exhibitions into that world – our window into northern renaissance. This fabulous tapestry is an absolute MUST see!

The Ellys Manor House Spring Music Festival (EMH SMF) will be at All Saints Church Nocton Lincolnshire. All Saints Nocton is a Sir George Gilbert Scott Masterpiece, which will see its 150th anniversary in 2012.

Nocton Old Hall was once the home of: Sir William Ellys, Bart, and his son Sir Richard Ellys, Bart, Sir Richard, collector of the Ellys’ library at Blickling Hall, said to be “one of the most remarkable country-house libraries in England and the finest in the care of the National Trust” (later branch of the Ellys family).

All of the above will have done their bit. Now it is time for us to do our bit. The EMH SMF will be a concert not to be missed!
