faded on dampened walls,

restored to new life

with passion and care -

a renaissance within

this rare stepped and gabled

Renaissance house,

secure in the watch of hamlet and church,

its weathered stones, ochred timber bones

nurtured to a place of culture and learning,

cherished to a home,

the warp and weft of wool

knitting people and stories

across centuries and civilisations.
